But first the hosts catch up on what happened over the weekend. From the crazy Spring weather, hanging out with family, and going to the Dilla Day celebration event, it's pretty safe to say that the hosts had a great weekend. During the interview, Mark One and Neil talk about their upbringing and background about getting into the hip hop scene. Neil, hailing from Southwest of England, was introduced to hip hop in 85 and moved to Minneapolis shortly after to check out the hip hop scene there and to network. Mark One, started as a B-Boy in 82 and did graffiti as well in the U.S. He has always loved hip hop from the beginning and couldn't think of doing anything else. Both producers talk about coordinating the major event, the 5th annual Dilla Day Celebration, a celebration of one of the most revered hip hop producers in the history of the genre--J Dilla. You don't want to miss out on this interview and to experience who J Dilla was and all of the people who loved him. In the news, N.O.S. and DisputeOne talk about Craig Mack's history in rap, Logic's new deal, and Q-Tip's new teaching course at NYU. So sit back and relax.
